First 10-Photo Shoot and QR-Code Acceptance Test
Use test photos with the staff member's consent. Take 1 photo and confirm it first, then take 9 more for a total of 10. Do not use a real customer for the first test.

Create a Dedicated Test Project First
Have the store manager confirm the camera, adapter cable, theme, and administrator settings. Start a standard photo shoot from Home and enter a non-personal test name under "Customer Name." After choosing a template, confirm the image, orientation, and subject position.
To test cloud QR-code scanning, first enable the service under Settings → Photo Live, then turn on "Enable Photo Live" when creating a shoot. This uploads finished photos, so enable it only with the tester's consent. If Photo Live is unavailable or cloud testing is deferred, test the local-network method separately below and record the scope.
Wait for the Live View Before Positioning the Subject
- Camera on, data cable and adapter secure, and external devices powered as required by the manufacturer.
- If "Camera Not Found" appears, check the camera connection first. Choosing Continue only continues setup; it does not mean the camera is connected.
- Choose this session's theme, enter shooting, and confirm the live view follows movement.
- Check camera orientation, sample images, and foregrounds before positioning staff at the actual shooting mark.
If the image is black or frozen, do not keep pressing the shutter or assume shooting finished. Preserve the message and follow troubleshooting.
Enable Photo Live and Wait for the Self-Check Result
After turning on "Enable Photo Live" while creating a new session, wait for the service check to finish before continuing. If "Current Photo Live Service Error" appears, note the error code and description first, such as HTTP 403. This message may also be related to authorization or album permissions, not only a Wi-Fi problem.
- Tap "Continue Shooting": disable Photo Live for this new shoot while keeping the form. Confirm it, choose a theme, and shoot normally without cloud upload.
- Tap "Return Home": close the new-shoot window and cancel the new customer without entering shooting.
If missing photos need to be uploaded later, first ask support team to resolve the service issue. Then find the customer in "Customer Photo Management" and check Photo Live and upload status. Do not delete local photos that have not been uploaded.
How to Set the Photo Countdown and Pre-Focus
An administrator finds "Pre-Focus Lead Time" in Settings. The 0.6-second default sends a half-press focus command about 0.6 seconds before a countdown ends, but does not trigger the full shutter early.
Range: 0–0.8 seconds. At 0 or without a countdown, no early focus occurs. Test the default and keep the subject still near countdown end. A pre-focus failure is not a successful shot; verify actual behavior with the store camera.
Set manual color temperature in two steps
In Shooting Settings, open Camera Parameters → White Balance. For regular shooting, choose "Daylight" first. Restoring the camera parameters to their defaults resets white balance to "Daylight"; it does not automatically confirm an arbitrary K value.
- When a specific K value is needed, first select "Color Temperature." This step only changes the white balance mode; it does not mean that a particular K value has been set successfully.
- When the color-temperature slider appears, set it to the target value, for example 5200 K, then tap the checkmark beside it to "Apply Color Temperature."
- Wait for the camera response. The number by the slider and checkmark is pending; use the latest camera report or body display. No response means it is not confirmed.
If "Current Model Does Not Support App Adjustment" appears, adjust it on the camera. Camera settings currently support Canon; test other brands.
Take the First Photo
Take one photo and wait for processing to finish. Check the subject, orientation, template, and the Beauty or AI effects being tested. Open the photos and confirm that both the original and high-resolution finished photo are present; do not rely on thumbnails alone. If the first photo fails inspection, stop and keep the message.
Take 9 More Photos, Changing the Pose Each Time
Shoot at the usual pace and do not repeatedly exit while tasks are unfinished. Use a clearly different pose for each photo and an easy-to-recognize pose for the last one. After processing finishes, verify 10 originals, 10 matching high-resolution finished photos, and the final photo against the shooting order. Record template composites separately; do not count composites as originals.
Scan with a Phone to Check Cloud Photos
Tap "Photo Live" on the current shooting page to display the QR code. Alternatively, open the test customer in "Customer Photo Management" and tap "Photo Live." Keep the iPad online with the app in the foreground until all files finish uploading.
Use the camera or QR scanner on another phone to scan the code and open it in a browser. Confirm that it belongs to this test project and contains all 10 finished photos. Open one in high resolution, use the webpage's download button and phone prompts to save it, then confirm that it opens again from the phone's photo library or the Downloads folder in Files.
Then turn off Wi-Fi on the phone and use mobile data to open the same cloud album, confirming that it is not available only on the local network. If mobile data was not tested, record only that "the on-site Wi-Fi can access it."
Test Local-Network QR Scanning Separately
Open this project in "Customer Photo Management" and find "Local-Network Download." Connect the phone and iPad to the same Wi-Fi, allow Local Network access on the iPad, then scan the code to download. Keep the app in the foreground on the iPad; scan a new code after the network changes.
A local-network QR code is not a remote delivery link. Failure to open it after leaving the on-site network does not mean cloud Photo Live has failed.
One Additional Check for Stores Using an External Display
Connect the external display you plan to use, then check its orientation and confirm that the full image is visible. The top of the external display shows the remaining time for the timed session and Photo Live progress. The 3, 2, 1 photo countdown appears in the live view without crowding the progress information at the top. When the timed session expires, a time-up message should appear on both the iPad and external display.
Take one more photo as the "External Display Additional Test" and record it separately from the first 10 photos. If there is no external display, mark it "Not Applicable."
Send the Acceptance Results Privately to Support team
