Account Registration and Sign-In Problems

Recover your account only on an official Apple page. Support team cannot receive verification codes on your behalf and does not provide accounts for purchase or rental.

01

Email Already in Use or Password Forgotten

This usually means that an account may already exist. Try the existing account first. If you have forgotten the password, follow the instructions on Apple's account recovery website. Do not repeatedly register new accounts or make signing out of the device your first troubleshooting step.

Verification Code Does Not Arrive

Verify the email address and phone number being used. Check the spam folder for email; for text messages, confirm the number, country code, and signal. If the verification code has expired, use the page's resend option to get a new one. Do not mix up and try old codes received from multiple requests. If it still fails, save the message and contact Apple Support.

03

"Your Account Cannot Be Created at This Time" Appears

First confirm that Safari can open webpages, then check for system updates; restore an existing account where possible. You can try again later or use Apple's web registration entry as officially recommended. Do not solve this by setting a false region, buying accounts in bulk, or installing unknown configuration profiles.

04

Unfamiliar Account Appears or Device Ownership Is Locked

Stop and contact the device's legal owner or Apple Support. Do not erase the device or pay for any so-called unlocking service. Restrictions on a company-managed device must also be confirmed by the device administrator.
