Unable to Install TestFlight or the App
If installation does not respond, the download fails, or the spinner keeps running, try the methods below in order. After each method, return to TestFlight and check the result. You do not need to try them all.
First identify the issue: is the tool not installed, or is Hi Cheese Photo not installed?
If TestFlight itself has not downloaded successfully, first check App Store sign-in, network access, and the complete message. If TestFlight opens but Hi Cheese Photo is not installed correctly, continue with the steps below.
TestFlight is not installed yet: Return to the download guideIf There Is No "Install" Button, Check the Invitation First
Return to the email the company sent you for this installation. Confirm that the invitation was accepted or redeemed successfully, and check the current TestFlight account. If you see only an old version, an invalid invitation, or no available version, privately send the message to the company and ask your contact to check invitation eligibility, the version, and device compatibility.
See Where "Redeem Invitation" Is LocatedIf Installation Does Not Respond, Quit and Reopen TestFlight First
- Swipe up from the bottom edge of the iPad screen and pause briefly in the middle to open the Recent Apps view. On a model with a Home button, you can also press the Home button twice.
- Swipe left or right to find the TestFlight preview card, then swipe up on the card to close it.
- Return to the Home Screen, reopen TestFlight, open Hi Cheese Photo, then check the installation status or tap "Install/Update."
Switch to a Wi-Fi Network with Working Internet Access
On the iPad, open Settings → Wi-Fi and select another Wi-Fi network you are authorized to use. Enter the password and wait for it to connect. Open Safari and confirm that webpages load normally, then return to TestFlight and try again. If public Wi-Fi requires web authentication, complete it first.
Being able to open ordinary web pages does not mean that the current network has a reliable connection to Apple's download services. Switching to another network can help determine whether the network is the problem, but it does not guarantee an immediate successful download.
If No Other Wi-Fi Is Available, Try a Mobile Hotspot
- Turn on cellular data on the phone and confirm that the phone can access the internet.
- If you are using an iPhone, open Settings → Personal Hotspot (under Cellular on some models), turn on Allow Others to Join, and note the hotspot name and Wi-Fi password. On an Android phone, open the personal hotspot settings to turn it on and view the name and password.
- On the iPad, open Settings → Wi-Fi, select the phone hotspot you just created, enter its password, and connect.
- Return to TestFlight and try again. After the download finishes, reconnect the iPad to the store Wi-Fi, then turn off the phone hotspot.
Network Is Slow or Download Failed; Try Again Later
If the installation progress is still changing, keep the iPad connected to power and the network and give the download some time. If the download fails or the progress does not change for a long time, stop tapping repeatedly, wait a while, then reopen TestFlight and try again. Waiting may help when Apple's download service or the network is temporarily busy, but not every error is caused by network speed.
Also check Settings → General → iPad Storage. If storage is low, remove only files confirmed to be unnecessary or reliably backed up. Do not directly delete store photos, templates, or Hi Cheese Photo.
If It Still Fails, Shut Down and Restart the iPad Normally
- First save work being processed in other apps. Open Settings → General, find "Shut Down," then slide to power off as prompted.
- After the iPad has shut down completely, press and hold the top button. Release it when the Apple logo appears, then wait for the iPad to start.
- Reconnect to Wi-Fi or a mobile hotspot, then reopen TestFlight, check the status, and retry the installation.
If the Test Version Has Expired
Check the remaining days for the build in TestFlight and contact the company to arrange a valid version. Each TestFlight build has a testing period of up to 90 days after upload; it cannot be extended by restarting, changing the system date, or renewing company software service.
How to Report the Issue After Trying All These Methods
Send the complete error message, time of occurrence, iPad system version, Hi Cheese Photo version and Build, and the networks and steps already tried through a private message. Before sending screenshots, hide email addresses, account details, device names, and redemption codes. Keep the existing app and photos while waiting for the company to investigate. Do not switch to an unknown installation source on your own.
